Connecting a pfSense wall behind a Cisco 4507e

Have you tried in the diagnostics menu of pfSense, using ping and ping the default gateway that the pfSense should be using? To make sure that of sense itself can contact it. If that doesn't work I would be with George, your ports could be labeled wrong.

Have you tried factory reset? I would unplug all cables when it boots back up accept for the WAN. Then let it auto-assign the WAN based on that being the only port active, then plug in a LAN cable on the next step and let it auto-assign that also.
